I came into the world in Mexico City in 1959. I was a normal kid who liked to play, act, paint, sing, run and enjoy life.
In 1979 I started to study plastic arts at the Escuela Nacional de Pintura, Escultura y Grabado “La Esmeralda” of the INBA and in 1985 I performed at the Escuela de Arte Teatral of the INBA.
I only dedicated myself to music in an autodidactic and amateur way.
Since 1984 I have dedicated myself professionally to being a painter, in 1985 I started as a professional actor and set designer, it’s been years since then and I’m still in the art world. There have been some theatrical works, some set designs, some individual exhibitions, some collective ones, some advertising sculptures and some important recognitions for my work.
My plastic work is within a magic realism in which theater, music and magic are always present. Many times illuminated by the moon magic characters appear accompanied by musical instruments, red jaguars, fish, birds, turtles or fruits, all of them geometrized and gathered in harmony with nature.
