In real terms the word refers to the biological classification of some cacti; “Echinopsis chamaecereus”.
This work is based on the apparently chaotic growth of some cactus plants that Abel likes.
With this idea of chaos, the author represents an erotic scene, between ludic uses of black and white of charcoal on paper.
For Abel, this type of plant comes to have an erotic symbolism, because many seem to have phallic forms.
This is one of the pieces in the collection of erotic drawings that Abel made in 2005, in Mexico City.
