History behind the artwork

A woman sits on the beach sand where she went with her former partner.

She misses him very much, as they ended the relationship, and on very bad terms.

She remembers how they used to have intimate encounters by the beach, and can’t help but feel melancholy.

For Abel, fish have a phallic, fertility and abundance symbolism. Just like the cactuses.

This piece is part of his collection of erotic drawings of the year 2019.
