History behind the artwork

Is a set of feelings, a tribute to the generosity of the sea and land. It is the enjoyment of the good harvest and good food made with wisdom and with the greatest love.

The character is a woman, Micaela; that is sitting between the sea and the land. Cocoa, corn and other fruits of the earth that evoke the artist’s birthplace can be seen. The setting is immersed between baskets, and the sea, giving an idea of the scenes of the markets in the province of Mexico, the color is vibrant accentuating the author’s interest in the representation of national folklore.

Here the teacher gives recognition and thanks to the people of the country, simple and hard-working.
