History behind the artwork
There are moments of tension and attraction with people that we cannot get close to, either due to moral principles, or due to distances that do not allow us to maintain a relationship with them.
In this piece, we see that sensation represented in a scene made up of two women. They merge their hands on the feet, alluding to the phrase “put your feet on the ground”, that is, do not get carried away by emotions.
Neither they nor the cacti can touch, they are only contemplated.

Trained as a cabinetmaker with his father in his childhood, he studied and graduated as a sculptor from the most important art school in Mexico, achieving a multifaceted professional development, venturing into all variants of the plastic arts.
